ingredients

  • 1½ pounds all-purpose white potatoes
  • 1 can (5 ounces) may contain evaporated nonfat milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, room temperature
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and peel them if desired. Cut into 2″ pieces. Place in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. Heat the evaporated milk.
  3. Place the potatoes, heated milk, butter, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Mix at LOW speed until smooth. Serve immediately.
