4 books I’m currently reading (+ my team’s favorites!)

It took me a while to find my reading rhythm this month (I don’t think I finished any books in the first ten days of March!), but now I’m reading some really great stuff!
Here are the books I’m enjoying right now!
4 books I’m currently reading

This Story Could Save Your Life by Tiffany Crum
This book has been everywhere since it came out earlier this month and I’m listening to the audio version which is doubly narrated (with the beloved Julia Whelan as the female voice!). It’s about a couple of best friends, Joy and Benny, who make an incredibly popular podcast together. And then one day Joy and her husband disappear, leaving behind broken glass and many questions. Benny is, of course, the prime suspect. As the story shifts from Benny’s frantic search for the truth, to clips from their podcast and Joy’s unpublished memoirs, more questions arise than answers and time is running out. I think this is definitely one to have as an audiobook!

It’s More Fun to Believe: Finding God When Faith Gets Complicated by Julie Taylor
I’ve loved Julie Taylor for years (I met her at an event a few years ago and said “you don’t know me, but I’m a huge fan”) and I’m so excited that her book is out worldwide. I went to the launch party earlier this week – it was held at my local library – and I came home and dove right into her book!

Dolly All the Time by Annabel Monaghan
I’m a big fan of Annabel Monaghan – many of her books have appeared in past Summer Reading Guides – and I was delighted to receive an advance copy of her latest romance novel. We’ll see if this makes the cut for this year’s Summer Reading Guide!

The Family Dynamic: A Journey into the Mystery of Sibling Success by Susan Dominus
I picked up this book before bed a few weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it! The author was always fascinated by the Bronte sisters who were all so incredibly talented and this led her to embark on a path of research into families where multiple children do great and incredible things (in sports, business, literature, medicine or other fields!). I really like this.

Andy Weir’s Hail Mary Project
I never seemed to have the time for this to occur to me, so I bit the bullet and bought it on Audible. I thought it would be fun to get my husband to listen to it too and then go see the movie together. We’re both still working on it, but WOW!! Why is the audio so good?! I can’t explain it, trust me and all the Everyday Reading followers who voted it one of the best audiobooks of 2024. The story is full of science, but also lots of laugh-out-loud moments and suspense. I can’t wait to finish it.

Andy Weir’s Hail Mary Project
Sorry to be redundant, but I’m also reading the Ave Maria Project! I actually just finished it yesterday and wow, how nice! I started listening to it, but then I got impatient and also bought a Kindle copy so I could read it faster. I’m not a big fan of science fiction, but this was an exception. It captured my attention from the first chapter. My husband is reading it too and we are so excited to go see the movie together this weekend!

Best Offer Wins by Marisa Kashino
We bought our house during COVID, when the real estate market was absolutely cutthroat, so this story seemed Very traceable. It follows Margo and her husband as they struggle to buy a home in a coveted Washington neighborhood and start a family, but after losing offer after offer, Margo is willing to do absolutely anything to finally get her dream home.
I’d love to hear what you’re reading right now!

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
