My husband’s favorite products from 2025

Creatine Chewy
Bart bought them and then, when he finished the jar, he ordered another high-quality one. He tried one and it was so bad that he immediately returned it and went back to these that he looks forward to every single day.

Bart says: Apparently creatine is ridiculously good for me as I age, from muscle to brain health. Finding something that makes me WANT to take it every day is a game changer.

Fundamental power
One of my best gifts to Bart about five years ago was a mini fridge for our gym and ours is always stocked with these protein drinks!

Bart says: The most delicious way to get 42 grams of protein after a workout.

Kettlebells
Bart loves having a home gym (you can see a little tour here) and these are a new addition that he has absolutely loved.

Bart says: I avoided them for years and suddenly I fell in love.

Gradual running shirt
With the cold weather here, Bart added a few of these to his workout wardrobe and loved them as much as everything else from the G Gradual brand.

Bart says: What started with liking their pants “gradually” turned into purchasing everything they produce.

Face lotion
A perfect combination with her detailed skin routine. . . washing his face with a bar of Irish Spring in the shower.

Bart says: I like the SPF 15 – it’s not greasy at all and it’s super cheap (much cheaper than the Cetaphil I’ve been using for a long time).

Matte hair cream
I’m pretty sure Bart didn’t own a single hair product when we got married. He’s come a long way!

Bart says: I found it at the salon and was thrilled to find it on Amazon.

Standing desk
This was a great upgrade for him and now I’m thinking about getting one too!

Bart says: I’ve been thinking about getting one for years but for some reason it seemed complicated and difficult. This desk was so simple and a great update for my office. Bonus: I paid my 10 year old daughter to put it together and she did a phenomenal job!

Microphone Creator
However, I don’t think I’ll get this one because I don’t want any more meetings.

Bart says: I have enough online meetings that a really simple desktop microphone made sense and this is still my favorite.

Training running shorts
I love these shorts – perfect length and super flattering. I always thought men’s workout shorts were pretty dowdy until they came on the scene. A+ from me.

Bart says: It may seem strange, but I’ve been looking for nice athletic shorts that I like for years. It’s been hit and miss and I finally found something I really like and bought enough pairs to last the entire week!

Nike Flex Control for men
Bart is a sneakerhead through and through (and comfort is his #1 priority). These are his favorites.

Bart says: White is risky with shoes as they get dirty quite quickly but I have found that I wear them a lot more than the black version and they are quite easy to clean.

Pickleball paddle
Is this the pickleball paddle I would recommend for a beginner? No chance. But for someone who actually cares and plays a lot? This is a winner.

Bart says: Without a doubt the best paddle for me. It’s not cheap but absolutely worth it!

Melin hat
I bought it for my husband last year and he wears it all the time. Runs very warm, especially off the head and love how breathable this is and the fit is fantastic. It’s really expensive, but since I’m not a hat collector, I knew this would be worn over and over again, making it a worthy purchase.

Exfoliating shower towel
I put it in his stocking last year and he was really dubious. I ended up opening it up and putting it in the shower to motivate him to use it. And what do you know? He uses it every single day!

Black stone grill
I gave my husband a Blackstone grill for Father’s Day and it was a wonderful gift for me, especially since my husband cooks a lot more now! We use it all the time and love grilling burgers, tacos and breakfast items galore! The huge surface area of ​​the pan is much more versatile than a typical barbecue grill. It’s easy to cook a lot of food at once to feed a crowd, and we’ve enjoyed hosting taco nights, breakfasts, and neighborhood barbecues!

Burger spatula
This spatula is great for flipping burgers on the Blackstone (or any grill). It’s extra wide and ideal for grilling or flipping pancakes when a full-sized spatula won’t cut it.

Give the gloves as a gift
I bought these for my husband last Christmas and he absolutely LOVES them. He had used inexpensive leather gloves purchased at a home improvement store, but they wore out quickly and did nothing to keep his hands warm during winter yard work. He’s outside a lot, cleaning our gutters, doing yard projects, working in the cold, and these gloves have been a total upgrade. They are warm, waterproof and incredibly durable. You need to treat them with wax, but it’s a small step for how long-lasting and high-quality they are. I’m confident these will serve him well for years!

Danger! Calendar
This is something my husband uses every day… and works hard at it. He’s doing a daily newspaper Danger! calendar for six years now, and I honestly don’t think he could do without it. His parents and siblings also have one and maintain a low-key competition throughout the year. It’s definitely a favorite that is used again and again. Plus, it’s just fun – every day brings something new Danger! clue to solve!
