Wow, it’s so nice to be home!
My favorite thing since we got home has been sitting down in the evening with a puzzle and an audiobook and spending some quiet time on my own!
Here are some of my favorite books on sale this weekend!

Beauty by Robin McKinley – ebook – $1.99
I have always loved a good retelling of fairy tales and this is one of the ones I remember best from my childhood. My mom read this Beauty and the Beast retelling aloud to us and I woke up in the middle of the night to see her reading it in the hallways because she couldn’t wait to see how it would end! I love that this gives so much more backstory to Beauty’s family and I really love her sisters and their sweet relationship. It has some really great character development and is just an all-round delight.

Fun to Ask by Elissa Sussman – ebook – $1.99
Chani is a young journalist who wants to make it big, and when she interviews the celebrity she has a crush on, it’s a life-changing experience on both a professional and personal level. Ten years later, they meet again and both realize that the 72 hours spent during the interview meant more than they thought. This is on par Book loverssteam wise.

Thanks for listening by Julia Whelan – audiobook – $3.99
I LOVE Julia Whelan’s audiobook narration (she narrates Book lovers!) and his book that he wrote (and narrated!) was an instant best seller. This book is especially fun because it’s all about the world of audiobook narration. The protagonist, Sewanee, used to be an actress, but has now moved on to audiobook narration. She started out with romance novels and decided to leave them behind, but is forced into one last romantic project. This final project ends up being with the romance genre’s most popular male audiobook narrator, Brock McKnight. You’ll definitely want to listen to it on audio! Watch out for a short scene with the door open.

Shipwreck at the Bottom of the World: The Extraordinary True Story of Shackleton and Endurance by Jennifer Armstrong – Audiobook – $1.99
I first learned about Shackleton in college when a friend wrote an article about him and I was fascinated by this incredible story of Ernest Shackleton and his 27 men who became trapped in the ice while trying to cross Antarctica and then spent five months camping on the ice floes, eventually sailing 800 miles of open ocean in a small boat to find a rescue vessel. I can’t stop thinking about this! This is a great audiobook for a family road trip!

Summer novel by Annabel Monaghan – audiobook – $4.99
What is summer reading without a little romance? I loved his book Nora goes off scriptand I liked this one even more! It follows Ali, who is a professional organizer and personal mess as she becomes a new single mom. Will a summer romance make his life more or less messy?

The Rose Code by Kate Quinn – audiobook – $4.99
I finally read my first Kate Quinn book (The Briar Club) for Everyday Reading Book Club and I was so fascinated I knew I had to read another one! I immediately downloaded it The rose codeabout three women recruited to break codes during World War II. I was all in on this. My summer reading list is basically just his entire list.

The Griffin Sisters’ Greatest Hits by Jennifer Weiner – audiobook – $3.99
This really sucked me in (and broke my heart)! Sisters Cassie and Zoe rose to fame as the Griffin Sisters in the early 2000s, only to fade from the spotlight after a sudden and inexplicable breakup. Now, two decades later, Zoe’s daughter is determined to uncover the truth, forcing all three women to reckon with the past.

Amari and the Metalwork Menace by BB Alston – audiobook – $4.99
I read the first book in this series to my girls in middle school and we were immediately hooked! This is the fourth book in the series and is perfect if you have a child who loves mystery and adventure. (Plus, this is a Libro.FM deal, so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
