I wouldn’t necessarily say that Regency era books are my favorites.
But then I read Edenbrooke on the recommendation of a friend and I was so interested.
Since then, more than ten years later, I have kept my eyes open forever Edenbrooke read the same way!
Here are some favorites to pick up after you’re done Edenbrooke.

Books to read non-stop after reading Edenbrooke

Lakeshire Park by Megan Walker
I listened to it and it was a real pleasure. Amelia and her sister find themselves facing abject poverty as soon as their stepfather dies and Amelia hopes that before that happens, she can secure a marriage between her sister and a wealthy gentleman – Sir Ronald – in whom her sister has shown some interest. Luckily, they are invited to a party at Sir Ronald’s house and it seems to be a good thing for the sisters. Until Amelia discovers that one of the other guests, Peter Wood, is hoping to help HER sister make a match with Sir Ronald. And when Amelia finds her attraction to Peter blossoming, things will get even more complicated.

Daddy Long Legs by Jean Webster
In this delightful novel, eighteen-year-old Jerusha, “Judy,” grows up in an orphanage. When a mysterious millionaire starts paying for his college education, he can’t believe his luck! Who was this mysterious gentleman and would Jerusha ever get to meet him?

These are my words by Nancy E. Turner
I read this book YEARS ago after my mother raved about it and sent me a copy. He wasn’t wrong: This historical novel is written in diary form (a format I generally dislike but which works wonderfully here) and follows Sarah Prine and her family into the Arizona Territories where just about every bad thing you can imagine happens until they join a wagon train. The leader of the caravan is Captain Elliot and Sarah alternately admires and despises him. Of course it does. I LOVED this book. (Full review here)

Charming a Lady by Joanna Barker
You know those books where you immediately want to spend EVERY WAKENING MOMENT reading that book? This book was the one for me! It’s the second book in this regency romance series, but it’s completely standalone. While attending a house party, Cora receives strict instructions from her mother to find a husband, but she will pursue a man her mother would approve of or a long-time crush she has never gotten over.

Unselected Diaries of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower
When Emma M. Lion returns home to her neighborhood of London, she has only one thing on her mind: repossessing her rightful home from her cousin Archibald. You better believe Archibald isn’t going anywhere without a fight. In true Emma M. Lion style, she recounts the details of her increasingly hilarious and frustrating life. I am completely obsessed with this series!

The luxury of Anna Godbersen
Romance, intrigue and class warfare: what’s not to like? Set in early 20th century New York City, Luxury begins with Elizabeth Holland’s funeral. She is the daughter of a high society family and this is supposed to be her wedding day to one of New York’s most eligible bachelors. The book introduces the main characters present at the funeral and then rewinds two weeks to show the events leading up to the funeral. It’s full of twists, big and small, and I loved every second of this story told from the perspectives of five characters. Luxury It’s the first in a series of four and I devoured them all.

Finding Persephone by Sarah M. Eden
This has everything I love in a romance: it’s swoony, Regency-era and has a Beauty and the Beast Touch! When a sweet, headstrong heroine marries a surly, emotionally wounded duke to save her family, she sets out to melt the ice around his heart. It’s cute and can be listened to quickly!

When the Day Comes by Gabrielle Meyer
In this time travel diary, Libby is given the gift of going to sleep in one period of time and waking up in another period of time without any time having passed. He divides his time between the colonial Williamsburg of 1774 and the other Gilded Age New York City of 1914. He lives a very different life in each, but there comes a time when he must make a very important decision about which time period he will remain in forever.

A heart to steal by Joanna Barker
This is a real pleasure to read. After her father’s death, Ginny is devastated when his precious pocket watch goes missing. When she hires a special investigator, Jack Travers, to help her find the watch, he discovers there’s more to it than just the missing watch. While Ginny and Jack will work together, obviously, there will be romance. This is a great story with dialogue as captivating as you would find in Edenbrooke.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
