I asked, you replied: the best things I influenced you to try!
by 184yw8rhwhr
This summer I asked on Instagram what your favorite thing was that I had influenced you to buy.
It was so fun to see what products popped up again and again (and none of these were a surprise because they are products that I love and rave about over and over again!).

Books
If there’s one thing I’m happiest having had an influence on, it’s books! After all, that’s my goal with Everyday Reading: to help you discover (or rediscover) how joyful and magical reading can be. Whether you’re looking for picture books to read to your kids or the perfect romantic comedy for you, I’ve got you covered!

Book neck lamp
I couldn’t call myself a book blogger if I didn’t inspire you to buy something that will keep you reading well past bedtime. After testing all the book lights available, I can confidently say that this one truly is the best.

Player Yoto
I could go on and on about my love for Yoto Player! I’ve written a comprehensive guide about it, explained why I think it outperforms Tonie Box, and garnered countless rave reviews from parents. I am an enthusiastic and enthusiastic fan.

Emma M. Leone series
Of all the books I’ve recommended to you over the years, I’m thrilled that you’re just as obsessed with Emma M. Leone how they are! Now please, can the next book come out…like tomorrow?! If I haven’t convinced you to dive in yet, know that the first few books start out a little slow, but trust me, they only get SO much better!

Raycon earphones
I was late to the wireless earbuds party, but after trying the Raycon Everyday Earbuds I was immediately hooked, and many of you told me you ordered them too. They stay in place, they don’t hurt, they cost a lot less than AirPods, and honestly, I can’t imagine going back to wired earbuds. A reader said “I don’t think I used earbuds the first year because they weren’t comfortable, then I realized I was wearing them upside down and now I wear them all the time!”

Travel sound machine*
We bring several of these on all our trips and they work great to help drown out the sounds of a busy city, a new location, or a shared room. I literally have a whole folder of screenshots of people raving about these. Don’t miss your chance to get one (or two or three!).

Puzzle card
I finally gave in and ordered a puzzle board during a big sale, and now I can’t believe I ever lived without it – it’s a total game-changer for my puzzle-loving heart. After sharing it, many of you got one too, and I’m thrilled that we’re all enjoying the update together!

Magic puzzles
These puzzles are not your usual puzzles, and believe me, I have done my fair share of puzzles. They are beautifully designed so that each piece is fun to look at and there’s a surprise when you reach the end! I wrote a whole post about them if you want more details here!

Christmas bells
Every Christmas season, I’m so excited to break out our jingle bells – it’s truly one of our family’s favorite holiday traditions! They have a great DVD or digital video play-along with 30 Christmas songs complete with chords – a big step up from single-note playing! The notes scroll across the screen like Guitar heroand ring the bell when they touch the line. Best of all, it’s fun for both adults and kids.

Coral reef sandals
I bought these sandals three years ago and they are still in constant rotation – super comfortable for water parks, the beach and even rocky hikes. After sharing them, many of you picked up a pair too and I’m pretty sure I influenced Ella the most. Now we both love the slightly dressier version, perfect for everyday wear AND nice enough for church.

Candied jalapenos
When I shared a photo of my lunch one day (a bowl full of cottage cheese), I had no idea how many of you would be begging for the recipe! And I honestly don’t blame you: it’s delicious. The secret ingredient? Candied jalapeños. I had never tried them before, but after purchasing them for another dish, I am now 1000% hooked.

$9 Walmart T-Shirt
I think I’ll always be a jeans and t-shirt girl and this t-shirt from Walmart is GOOD – I wore the white one a million times last summer and added a black one to the rotation this year! It’s also available in gray and navy striped versions, and they’re all just $9! (Also, white is not transparent!).

Homeschool Charts
We used these patterns last year for home schooling and they worked so well that I ordered another set for this school year! They’re perfect for keeping track of your morning routine and schoolwork (you can see them in action here). These stickers fit perfectly, and as someone who loves all things organization, it makes me so happy to know that they also help bring some order into your life.

Origami Foldology Set
This origami set has quickly become one of the most popular things I’ve shared all year! THOUSANDS of you have gotten them for road trips, plane trips or as birthday gifts. They keep my girls entertained for hours on long flights and I’ve already stocked several sets just for them!

Dime
I’ve been using Dime Skin Care since January 2021 and I can’t be excited enough about it. I use THE WORKS bundle morning and night and am also obsessed with their Blue Facial Oil and Super Firm Serum (which I told my mom was like Botox in a Bottle). My full review is here.

Club Athena
I love how sharp it is, I love the pretty color options, and I love that it hangs on the side of the shower so it doesn’t get knocked around, get in a puddle of water, or get sticky. Basically, I can’t be excited enough. It makes me happy every single day to see it hanging in my shower.

Teeth whitening strips
These are the teeth whitening strips that I have been using for over 5 years – they work great and do not cause sensitivity. My husband and I both use them and my older daughters do too!

Expert
After sharing Ani’s journey with Savvy Reading (let’s just say we’re lifelong fans!), I was thrilled to hear from so many of you about the difference she’s made for your kids. This program does more than teach reading: it builds confidence, sparks a love of learning, and empowers children to meet challenges, providing them with life-long skills.

Kindle page turner
When I first purchased this Kindle page turner, I thought it might be the dumbest, laziest gadget ever. But then I got hooked and now I can’t help but share it with all my Kindle-loving friends!

Cutters
This set of cutters is one of my favorite gifts. I keep a giant stash on hand just in case! They may seem simple, but once you have them, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without such a convenient and affordable tool. We gave them to neighbors with a note that said “Any way you slice it, you are a great neighbor!”

Battery organizer
When I shared the battery organizer my parents gave Bart for his birthday, many of you wrote to me telling me you immediately ordered one too. It really is the best $20 value: every battery in one place, easy to find, plus a built-in tester!

Men’s jogging trousers
It can be tricky to shop for husbands, but after I shared these joggers, many of you told me you ordered them for yourselves. Now Bart has them in more colors! He bought his first pair in the fall of 2020, and two years later he barely wears jeans anymore. They’re comfortable, flattering (thanks to the twill fabric), and still look brand new after hundreds of uses, all for about $20.

Snack without shame
You can’t imagine how much I love when people tell me they had doubts about Shameless Snacks, but are so happy they tried them because now they LOVE them. Sour Mango is my favorite, but honestly, all of these low sugar sour candies are delicious.

Christmas audiobooks
There are so many Christmas audiobooks out there, but I’m picky about what I press play on while wrapping presents or working on a Christmas puzzle. I’m only sharing my absolute favorites and I love that my tips have helped you get into the holiday spirit too!

Crate of kiwis
KiwiCo has been a lifesaver for us for years. My girls treat every box like Christmas morning and I love that I don’t have to plan, shop, or rush for supplies. After sharing how much we use (and love!) them, many of you told me that you’ve since ordered KiwiCo crates too, and I can’t think of a better boredom-busting or grandparent-approved gift.

Huge wall calendar
I love how crazy you all are over these super fun rainbow wall calendars! I don’t blame you though because they’re also less than $6! They aren’t dated, so you can start using them at any time, and the pop of color adds so much brightness to any wall.

Mary Ruth Vitamins
One of my big goals for 2024 was to experiment with new products and routines to finally have beautiful hair, at least most of the time. Adding Mary Ruth’s Hair Growth Multivitamin to my daily routine has meant that… Huge difference! Use my code MROBRADSHAWJ
